John 14:26 – “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”

Introduction:

The Holy Spirit is God’s presence living in every believer. He is your helper, teacher, and guide in your new life with Jesus.

Who Is the Holy Spirit?

  • The third Person of the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).

  • God’s Spirit given to live inside you.

  • Your comforter and counselor.

How the Holy Spirit Helps You:

1. He Teaches and Reminds You

  • Helps you understand God’s Word.

  • Brings to mind what Jesus taught.

2. He Gives You Power

  • Empowers you to live for God and share your faith.

  • Helps you overcome sin and temptation.

3. He Guides Your Decisions

  • Leads you to make choices that please God.

  • Gives wisdom and peace.

4. He Produces Spiritual Fruit

  • Develops love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in your life (Galatians 5:22-23).

5. He Gives Spiritual Gifts

  • Enables you to serve God and others in unique ways.

  1. How do you feel about having God’s Spirit live inside you?

  2. What spiritual fruit would you like to grow in your life?

  3. Are you open to the Holy Spirit’s guidance and power?

  4. How can you listen to the Holy Spirit daily?

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, thank You for coming to live in me. Help me hear Your voice, be filled with Your power, and grow the fruit of the Spirit. Teach me to live a life that honors God and serves others. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
