As a new believer, you’ve just begun the most exciting journey of your life — walking with God. One of the most important parts of this journey is prayer. Prayer is how we talk to God, just like a child speaks to a loving Father. You don’t need special words or a perfect voice — just a willing heart. God is always listening, and He wants to hear from you. Through prayer, you will grow stronger in your faith, feel His peace, and learn to walk closely with Him every day.
This study was written with you in mind. You may come from a place where churches are few, Bibles are rare, or faith is kept quiet. Or you may have access to everything, yet still feel unsure where to begin. No matter your background, this is for you — to help you understand what has happened in your heart, and to grow into the person God has created you to be.
